On the 17th of May at 7pm our own Dougal Urquhart will be hosting a walk to experience the Nightingales of Middlewick in full song. Other birds such as Song Thrush will also be contributing to the dusk chorus.
The event page on the facebook event page (https://fb.me/e/7lV2X2i8l) writes:
"There is nothing quite like the iconic Nightingale and their diverse entrancing song - supported in huge numbers by the sensitive habitats on Middlewick. Dougal will also explain the conservation value and threats to this precious population - which represents over 1% of all Nightingales in Britain!"
CNHS has been working closely with the Save The Wick campaign in order to help save this valuable natural space, and so we are pleased to use our platform in order to promote this event.
