Not just a Field Guide to the Essex Coast - Dr Chris Gibson

COVID has impacted everyone in different ways, but one of the frequently expressed thoughts is that it has given time for reflection, and catching up with long-term projects. For Chris Gibson, that has meant progressing something he has always wanted to do – writing a book to help put the Essex Coast on the map. 35 years in the gestation, this talk will look at the evolution of the project, why we are writing it, and answer the question ‘If it is not just a field guide, what else is it?’
