About the event

Mark Nowers is the RSPB’s Turtle Dove Conservation Adviser in Essex, working as part of Operation Turtle Dove, aimed at helping to recover the UK population of this enigmatic species. His talk will cover the work of the project, the research that has been undertaken to understand why Turtle Doves have declined and what action is being taken to redress this, both here and abroad.
