About the event

Booking is essential for this event.


We are hoping to see Heath Bumblebee and other specialist insects of the heath. The visit is timed for the beginning of flowering of Bell Heather in the hope of finding first brood of the bumblebee. We should also see some of the spring-flying solitary bees, spring butterflies and numerous other heath-loving species.
