About the event

Gary, co-author of the Naturalists' Handbook on Ants (new ed. 2025), will describe the fascinating life of ants, their biology and ecology covering all 61 species found in Britain. He studied Wood-ants for his PhD in the 70’s and after retiring from teaching, has worked as a consultant and author.
