We will meet at The Whalebone CO5 7BG at 5.30pm, which is in the centre of the village (See Map) and following on from a late afternoon tea at 5.45pm, provided by the pub, move on to the Essex Wildlife Trust Fingringhoe Nature Reserve at 7pm for a 2 hour visit. We will spend approximately two hours at the Reserve listening for Nightingales and other spring birds which should be in full song at this time. We will be joined by Shaun Bater, EWT Assistant Manager. Early May is always a good time to be out birding, so anything might turn up! Stout footwear should be adequate for the Nightingale Walk at the centre.

Non-members of Essex Wildlife Trust will be asked for a £3 donation at the Visitor Centre. This is not included in the meal ticket.
