Land Lane, East Hill - W3W asks.unity.delay

About the event

Tuesday 6 June - from 10am to 1pm (or later if there is interest)

There are three closely connected green spaces in the city centre (Riverside walk, King's Head Meadow and Land Lane open space). Join Society President Ted Benton to review and record the current wildlife interest of the sites. To book and for further information contact Ted on 07928 705710 or email: president@CNHS.UK

Meet at 10am at the entrance to Land Lane [What3Words asks.unity.delay]. This is a narrow alley off the north side of East Hill, directly opposite the exit from Priory Street. Motorists can park in Priory Street and cross into Land Lane. The Land Lane open space is a narrow green space adjacent to the eastern stretch of the Roman Wall. We can walk from there to the pedestrian bridge over the River Colne and then either walk along the river towards East Street, or through Castle Park to Kings Head meadow. Depending on weather and species present, we should be able to cover all three sites. All welcome.
