Join Michael Padmore on a 2 hour walk along the Colne through some of the scrubby copses favoured by Nightingales. Other migrant passerines and waders are also likely to be seen.

About the event

Wednesday 26 April - 7pm - An approximately 2 hour evening walk along the River Colne from Wivenhoe station, led by Michael Padmore. Book on 07936 325603. Parking is available at the pay and display car park at the station or there is plenty of free parking at the car park in the High St opposite the Greyhound pub.

A walk along the Colne through some of the scrubby copses favoured by Nightingales. Other migrant passerines and waders are also likely to be seen and heard. Meet in the station car park at 7pm. Stout footwear will be adequate for this walk. Toilet/refreshment facilities are available in Wivenhoe.

There are excellent train and bus services to Wivenhoe.
