About the event

Meet at the Visitor Centre (CO5 7DN), bring lunch. Stout footwear will be adequate for this field trip. CNHS and EWT members free, a £2 donation will be requested from non-members of either.

Join Russell Leavett to sit out the lunchtime high tide period in Margaret Hide, overlooking the recently created intertidal area adjacent to the River Colne Estuary. By mid-October good numbers of waders and wildfowl of a wide range of species should be present and move into this waterbird refuge as the tide rises. An excellent opportunity to learn how to separate the various species. For further information contact Russell on 01206 399059.
