10am - 12 noon walk with the Colchester City Council Ranger Carla Davis, book on 07866 553879. Meet at the entrance off Spring Lane CO4 3AN at the field gate within the site: What3words: poems.tall.next.
This site is a hidden gem for wildlife. We will be in the meadows looking at the late spring wildflowers and other plants. Pignut, Harebell and Devil’s-bit Scabious are found on site along with a wide range of other species. A natural spring rises to form an interesting pond and wet meadow area. Join Carla to find out more! The event is weather dependant, please wear appropriate footwear for rough and/or wet ground.
