About the event

Booking is essential for this event.

A walk led by Colchester City Council ranger Nick Shimwell and Society President, Ted Benton. Recent surveys have revealed presence of nationally rare and many Essex Red Data listed species, with more to discover. The emphasis is on insects, but the site is rich in botany and birdlife. Bring any ID books you may have. The event is weather-dependent, so please wear appropriate footwear for rough ground, and ring Nick for up-dates on weather if necessary.

Meet at Sussex Road entrance CO3 3QX. What3words: adjust.carbon.piles. TL984252. For further information and to book contact Nick on 07977 798319.
