About the event
This is a joint event with the Essex Bat Group. Meet at the Visitor Centre in Turner Road, Colchester CO4 5JR OS ref: TL999271. Facilities include Toilets, pay and display car park . Booking is essential on 01206 853588.
Cost: £5.50 per adult, children, CNHS and Essex Bat Group Members free.
Meet the Ranger and join the led walk around the Country Park using electronic bat detectors to locate the various species on the wing. Usually the lake is a very productive area to investigate. Stout footwear should be adequate for this walk. Suitable for all the family. Please bring a torch with you.
