General wildlife walk, Ironworks Meadow, Maldon - Carla Davis

Booking is essential for this event.

A new community-managed nature reserve, saved from industrial development by local volunteers (Chelmer Blackwater Reserve CIC). Grassland, hedgerow and reedbeds. We’ll walk round the reserve then onto the towpath of the Chelmer Navigation to see what we can find, there will be a number of Odonata species on the wing. Please wear appropriate footwear. Bring any field guides, ID books and binoculars. Event is weather dependent. Walk will not last for more than 4 hours, max. parking for car park.
