Join fungi expert Sarah Manning on a stroll through this fantastic wood between Wivenhoe and Alresford. Come with us to learn about the different fungi species in the area, and their importance to the local ecosystem. It is important to note this is not a foraging walk; we will not be picking fungi. 

Vehicle access is via a made-up track that leaves the B1028 Wivenhoe to Alresford road just north of the railway line on the eastern side at TM053216.
