About the event

This 74ha working farm owned by Colchester City Council is a Local Wildlife Site and consists of a variety of wildlife habitats including grazing meadows, arable fields, hedgerows, woodland and the river Colne. We aim to find out what moths occur on the site. Bring along your own moth trap and generator if you have one. Park in the lay-by on The Chase Way (about 80m along on the right), Grid Reference (6 figure) TL974258, What3Words: sake.frames.pitch. Address (nearest): The Chase Way, off Bakers Lane, Lexden, Colchester. CO3 4AR.
